Makes OnaJava The Hot Spot

Syracuse, NY (ENet News) - Saturday & Sunday night Singer/Producer/Songwriter Daniel performed at OnaJava Coffee & Soul Cafe and from all accounts made a cold day in Syracuse very hot.
Nearly filled to capacity, OnaJava bounced, swayed, and grooved to the sounds of the Hartford Connecticut native both days.
The Saturday night show began with The Most Talented and Seth Marcel taking the chill off of the quiet CNY crowd with club banging tracks like (TMT's) It's A Game and (Seth's) Bump That.
It was easy to see that the weekend was clearly Daniel's from beginning to end.
Going from Onajava to the SU campus and Southwest Community Center on Friday, then spending a full day at carousel center and closing out where he started early Sunday morning.
The performance started at 11:07 p.m. with a short version of "Let It Snow" poking fun at the weather outside. "Without U" from his new Independent cd "Life, Love, and Liberation" truly started the show that was tailor made for this coffee house crowd. Stopping the show to sing happy birthday to OnaJava's promotional manager Erin Smith (aka "Smitty") and addressing a ringing cell phone set the tone for an experience rarely seen in Central New York.
Relaxed, fun, and cool for those who could take it.
Syracuse is the 89th city that his five month journey has touched and there was no sign of fatigue. Just smiles and music all night.
Daniel is a new artist but he has already experienced the bright lights by touring the country with heavy weights Patti Labelle, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and acting in 1997 on the hit NBC sitcom City Guys.
In-between songs, he talked about investing in self and what being independent means to him. Once the point was made it was back to the music.
